"Three Guys From Miami Cook Cuban" and "Three Guys From Miami Celebrate Cuban"
Numero Uno
Glenn: When we say Numero Uno looks like a typical old Cuban restaurant we mean Numero Uno looks like a typical old Cuban restaurant.

Jorge: The décor here is a little dated -- the building could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never judge a restaurant by appearances alone.

Raúl: Some of the best restaurants are in strip malls!

Jorge: Here you will find home-style Cuban food prepared in an atmosphere that caters to the whole family.

Glenn: If you are staying in Orlando -- not "on property" at one of the theme parks, Numero Uno makes a great change of pace from the typical restaurants downtown and along International Boulevard.

Jorge: When chicken is roasted correctly, the white meat is just as juicy as the dark. Numero Uno's slow roasted garlic chicken borders on perfect.

Raúl: You get a half chicken with a crispy skin -- perfectly seasoned.

Glenn: With a thick, richly textured frijoles negros, white rice, and plátanos maduros, the chicken plate makes a very filling meal.

Jorge: A nice feature here is that the restaurant is completely smoke free. In Cuba, my father never smoked at the dinner table! Eating a good meal and smoking a good cigar were two completely separate pursuits.

Glenn: The beef and pork dishes are the star attractions here. The lechón asado, the ropa vieja, and the picadillo are notable.

Jorge: I found the arroz con pollo to be tasty and filling. You get a generous serving of chicken chunks in a delicate yellow rice with just the right amount of seasoning. The rice is moist without being soupy.
